Project Description

Kiwi sustained an injury to one of the nails of the right fore limb. The nail was cut short and antibiotics were prescribed. This area continued to cause irritation and he was referred to Coast for further investigation. Following x-rays there was evidence of bone infection at the end of the toe, surgery was required to remove the end of the toe. Kiwi is now back to his cheeky self and has returned to his preferred role of annoying our other dog.

All the Coast staff were wonderful especially Becky who looked after Kiwi like a king!
